How in the world can you sit there and film this and not help your dog!!! That bat had it s claws in that poor dog and at first he wasn t trip n then he tried to get him off and still the bat was clinging on!!
I m not a bat expert but I don t think I would take the chance of this dang bat biting my pet and giving it rabies or some disease. I think I ve seen too many movies where a bat has been at the beginning of a CONTAGION situation!!
GET THAT BAT OFF YOUR BABY AND STOP FILMING!!

Rotorua s Jason McMillan and his mates heard the sound of a boat crashing in darkness of the night, then the horrible noise of a revving engine that was clearly in trouble.
Two of them acted quickly, broke into a boat shed, stole a kayak and paddled into the darkness to help.
The drama unfolded on Friday night when McMillan was staying at a Marlborough Sounds resort for a wedding he was to be a groomsman at the next day.
He and a few of the bridal party and other guests were a few beers in when they heard the commotion on the water outside their rooms where they were drinking about 10.30pm.

Pāpāmoa fire station s emergency siren has now been permanently silenced at night despite strong support from the community. Fire and Emergency NZ confirmed the decision to the Bay of Plenty Times today after meeting with the brigade last week.
Pagers and cellphones are typically the primary alert system for New Zealand volunteer fire brigades such as Pāpāmoa which involves firefighters dropping what they re doing to head to the station in urgent response. Sirens are considered a failsafe system if the pagers and phones don t work.
